Day 1: Arrive in Dar and overnight.

Days 2 – 5: Selous Game reserve. The Selous is an untamed and vast wilderness; larger than Switzerland, four times the size of Belgium and the largest wildlife protection area in the world. The Authentic Tanzania Maji Moto Camp is on the banks of one of the reserve lakes so you can expect to see hippo, hyena and elephant all passing by camp. Get amazing views over the lake right from your tent and enjoy the private camp as no other guests will be around – just you. The camp is shaded by palms and the hot springs can be reached on full day game drives so don’t forget your swimming gear. The wildlife is enormously diverse, with your greatest chance of seeing packs of endangered wild dogs. You will also see lions, hyena, buffalo, elephant, hippo, crocs, giraffe, zebra, eland, waterbuck and wildebeest. Explore on game drive, on foot or by boat; or simply relax at camp and let the game come to you.

Day 6: Morning game drive and return to Dar.
